Iolaise pressed through the hanging bead curtain into the shop. The shop smelled like just the right kind of things; hydraulic fluid, that... other fluid she wasn't sure about. Oil, maybe. Gun and other kinds. And the walls were full of exotic (dead) drones and firearms. On this level of this city, she wasn't surprised to see the lighting be gaudy and blinding to the point where it was hard to see the flaws in the hardware lying around; noot even in the working models.

She approached the counter, smiling apologetically at the other customers. She put the flying spider drone on the glass counter with a bit of concern and eye for making sure it didn't stain the glass with a towel. The next five minutes had her looking around the room, her elbow leaned against the counter while she took in the various models with a look of growing disquietude.

When the proprietor finally returned from the back with a kitchen drone in their hands, her heart fell. She didn't show it. She waited politely until it was her turn. "Hello, could you maybe fix this?"

The proprietor looked at the drone once and blanched. "Honey, I aiin't... that's merc tech. Even if I got the parts..."

Iolaise smiled. "I understand. Ya ain't the first I've asked. Could you kindly send me the right way, if you could?"

She watched the blotched face turn sheepish. "Nope. But I can offer you a rugged scout drone to help out. If you want."

"No. Thanks, kindly. It's one of a kind, this. For your trouble, though, kind you," Iolaise said, flipping over a tiny banknote before collecting the drone. She smiled over; it died on her face as she wrapped the drone up again. Gone as the smile was, she looked determined. And troubled.

Your source for the latest NIKE (no replies)

Sleek and stylish, the nike air max 97 damen has become one of the most beloved lifestyle silhouettes in the entire NSW lineup, and is a crucial piece to the puzzle of that’s Swoosh Brand’s offerings each and every season. It’s taken on a masterful multitude of makeups over the course of 2019, and now another fresh style has surfaced, one that boasts a striking grayscale gradient fade. The heel starts with a stark black before gradually giving way to a steel grey on the midfoot and a crisp white by the toebox, but this is no average abatement of tones — the devil’s truly in the details (and materials) here. The color shift is accented by stark silver accents/contrast stitching on the upper’s overlays, and the mudguard also offers a patent leather-style sheen that highlights its color-shifting ways even further, even dropping down onto the usually cut-out midfoot underlay. You’ll also notice that the standard branding is gone, replaced by an elegant “Just Do It” hit on the heel plus swoosh-and-text logos on both the tongue stamp and outsole’s jeweled badge. A white EVA foam midsole and black Air Max unit wrap things up.
</br></br>
After appearing in a makeup that was seemingly Nintendo 64-inspired and getting coated in newspaper print, Nike’s nike huarache herren is set to keep its recent spate of wild colorways rolling right along with a reptilian style that seemingly nods to the classic Air Force 1 “Cocoa Snake.” Offering a classic black/white color scheme, the signature detailing on these Nike shoes is provided by a grayscale snakeskin print that slithers across the mudguard and bottom overlays. The upper’s bullet-train inspired racing stripes are dressed in crisp white, while a tightly-woven black mesh base holds the look together both literally and figuratively. Down below, a white EVA foam midsole combines with a crisp grey Air Max cushioning unit, and a black outsole finalizes the stylings.
</br></br>
Thanks to a handful of revealed collaborations and striking colorways that have dropped in recent months, the nike air max 90 herren model has certainly picked up some steam ahead of its 30th anniversary next year. Shedding its scaly constructions and jewel Swooshes utilized on recent iterations, this latest GR installment looks to tone things down a bit with this upcoming white and pink color makeover for women. Opting for a simple and cleaner look, the lifestyle silhouette is constructed with a combination of a white mesh and leather base, and contrasted with a black tumbled leather midfoot panel and pastel pink accents arriving on the Swooshes, heels, lacestays, and midsole panels.
</br></br>
The nike air max 270 damen has undoubtedly picked up some steam this Fall surfacing in fresh colorways on a weekly basis, and the lifestyle model looking to build on its garnered momentum with this brand new makeover that features notable accents from the classic Air Safari. Inheriting a design introduced by the great Tinker Hatfield, this latest kit comes outfitted with a simple white and red palette, but lets its spotted couch-inspired Safari patterns take center stage arriving on the tongues, lacestays, heels, in addition to the toe boxes and just beneath its Swoosh panels. Since its debut in the late 1980s, the famed print has surfaced on a wide range of models from Air Jordan retros to contemporary signature shoes, but its appearance on a Sportwear model – given the Air Safari’s original run as a lifestyle shoe – makes plenty of sense.

The worldgate had opened to another temperate forest, not giving an immediate clue if it was leading where Sylvie was hoping, but not long after, night fell. It was clear enough to introduce Sammeh to three of Eodea's moons, even if speaking did not come easily. Finally home, or closer than she had been in years, at last.

The next morning they found a point from which they saw fields and a paved street. The street had milestones telling Sylvie they were close to the city of Konda, the greatest port on the northern continent. The locals may have given them slightly longer looks than many other travellers got, but found them mildly unusual rather than a spectacle. Sylvie found Sammeh a very quick study learning the Seafarer tongue that would serve well both in Konda and Yrn. The two together found passage on a ship, the captain having use for a mage who could work with wood. What was hard to find on a ship, of course, was privacy.

Late summer: close to harvest, close to autumn. It was warm and sunny, as it had been for two days now. Local crops were doing fine and times were good, if only for a few days. Lengthy whiles of summer warmth usually meant lengthy whiles of summer rain, which was just as good. There were many who would have welcomed that with a smile, too.

One such person was sitting by a river a little farther away from the roads and settlements, enjoying the bounties of nature, drinking in the rich scents that warm summers brought with them. A hint of spruce, a hint of fir... grass and the water. The water especially.

The silver-haired person cast his line into the water and leaned his back against a warm rock. Sometimes these scenes and places drowned him so deep into contentment, all he could see, hear and feel were the things that made him content. The warmth of the rock, for example, and the feeling of warm sand between his bare toes. The sound of running water was the only thing in his ears.

All in all, Sebastian thought things were good. The entire world was a place to sleep, and he could find his food where he damn well pleased. Like now - he was after fish, which had been quite plentiful in the past two days he had spent travelling alongside the river. He hadn't seen a soul and felt as if he was the first man alive. He was happy. Ever happier when a fish took to his bait and soon found itself fighting to get back to its natural habitat.

Sebastian smiled, put another bait in the hook and sank the line into the river again. Another, and he would have a meal. He relaxed, set his hat at a deeper angle and closed his eyes. He wasn't far away from civilisation anymore and he was going to make the most of it.

Wearing only her shirt, Sylvie stood near the window of their rented room. She squinted up in the little mirror and combed through her hair with her fingers, she could still not make out her natural hair colour showing at the roots. Good. They had cooked up a dye from walnut husks before they had reached the main road; if word got out about their actions in Canyet, their unusual colours would be sure to feature in descriptions. Still drawing looks could not be helped, thanks to dark skin for Sylvie and bright eyes for Sammeh, but it was something.

That, and the names. She was starting to get used to thinking "Sammeh" instead of "Sebastian", but she could not think of herself as "Eda", completely. It was camouflage. At least she had had some time to get used to answering to the name.

<em>I hope we can drop the act after passing Hilyet.</em>

Sylvie pushed the thought aside, and the mirror back in its case, and walked the short distance to the bed, where Sammeh was at work.
